🎊 Chain upgrade from nyxd v0.26.1 to v0.31.1 completed successfully! Smooth sailing! the chain upgrade has been completed successfully. The downtime was minimal, only around 1 minute, and 10 minutes for the Nym Wallet. Everything is back online, including the Nym Wallet. IBC transfers are working, so our connection to Gravity Bridge + Ethereum is back in action. All in all, thanks to our upgrade team and validators, things went very smoothly.

📢 Important PSA: Nyx chain upgrade inbound! 📢 The Nyx chain will undergo an upgrade tomorrow. The proposed block height for the upgrade is 7710000, which will be reached on ⌚28 June Thursday, at 10 AM UTC (+/- 2 hours as block times are not always consistent). During this time the chain will halt, which means: 1️⃣ Mix mining and staking rewards will not be calculated 2️⃣ The Nym wallet will not work 3️⃣ Native NYM token transactions will not work 4️⃣ NymConnect may not work and the mixnet may become inaccessible during the upgrade. The upgrade will likely take an epoch (~1 hour) or less. In the off chance something goes wrong, it may take longer - please keep an eye on our channels, we will keep you posted about how it goes!

Participants are invited to join the special Element space to meet the program mentors by ❗️Friday, the 9th of June ❗️. Participating mix nodes will receive a treasury delegation of 200K NYM tokens each by Monday, the 12th of June as the program kicks off. ➕ Seeing the over one hundred outstanding submissions, the team decided to onboard 41 participants to the program instead of the originally planned 25. However, at the end of the day, we still had to create a (longer) shortlist. Besides the eligibility criteria outlined in the announcement blogpost, other factors were also considered, such as testnet and Shipyard Academy participation, and overall community activity. If you didn't make it this time, don't get discouraged! this is just the first cohort of the Nym Delegations Program and there will be others in the future. Stay with us, join the brand new Node Operator Element channel, keep learning and apply again next time!

Hi, for me, one of the best ways to understand how a network works is with connection diagrams, so I am sharing this NYM network diagram that I have modified for the use case that I have given it and I am giving it currently, connections that I've tested so far between apps and their servers. I've included ports and fixed some bugs that I think the original has. I'm still in the learning phase, so if someone finds a bug, they can edit it and open a PR on GitHub for the proposal to go ahead. I hope it is useful to you.
